Keon, the Irish wolfhound who resides with his family in Westerlo, Belgium, was awarded by the Guinness World RecordS for having the longest tail of 30.2 inches long. breaking the oldest record of 1.7 inches held by another Irish wolfhound.
His family describes him as a gentle and friendly dog despite his size.
Guinness World Records recently visited Keon and his family to present the extraordinary canine with an official certificate and set up a photoshoot for the Guinness Wolrd Records 2017 edition book.
Keon is an Irish name that means “courageous warrior”, but his owner Ilse Loodts says that he is a gentle giant.
